How TrulyVeda Went From Amazon Dependency to Their Own High-Converting Shopify Store

Intro

The founder of TrulyVeda had built something real.

Building a Shopify store for a D2C brand is not just about design — it is about giving the brand full control over its customers, margins, and growth.

TrulyVeda is an Ayurvedic wellness brand with genuine products. The formulations were third-party lab-tested, and the quality was there. But something was not working the way he wanted.

He was selling on Amazon, Blinkit, and other quick commerce platforms. Every single day, a huge chunk of his time was going into managing listings, dealing with platform rules, handling returns, and competing with dozens of similar products on the same page.

The sales were there, but the control was not. The margin was not there either. And the brand was not really his on those platforms.

He knew he needed his own store.

How CrestVox Studio Came Into the Picture

The TrulyVeda founder searched on Google for a Shopify developer and found CrestVox Studio.

The first conversation was not a sales call. It was a real discussion about what is working, what is not, where the brand is right now, and where it needs to go.

We asked the right questions.

Why are you spending so much time managing Amazon? What does your customer look like? What happens after someone buys once? Do they come back? What is your biggest frustration with platforms like Amazon right now?

The answers were clear. He was not trying to compete on Amazon pricing. He was building a brand. And brands need their own home.

Identifying the Real Problems

After the initial meeting, we mapped out everything that was holding TrulyVeda back.

No owned customer base. On Amazon, customers buy from Amazon, not from you. You do not get their email. You cannot retarget them. You cannot build loyalty.

Zero brand experience. Amazon product pages look the same for everyone. TrulyVeda’s quality, story, and lab-tested credibility were invisible.

High commission costs. Platform fees were eating into margins on every order.

Time drain. Managing multiple platform listings, inventory sync, and customer queries across platforms was consuming hours every day that should have gone into growing the brand.

No control over discounts or pricing. Platform-wide sales and competitor undercutting were a constant problem.

The solution was focused. Build TrulyVeda a proper Shopify store that works harder than any platform listing ever could.

The Plan

Before writing a single line of code, we created a clear plan together.

A clean trust-first design that communicates TrulyVeda’s quality immediately. Visitors needed to feel the difference within seconds of landing on the homepage.

Category-based navigation so customers could find what they need fast across digestion, immunity, liver health, and mental wellness without browsing a cluttered catalog.

Product pages built to convert. Each page is structured to answer what the product is, what it does, who it is for, and why it is trustworthy. Lab-tested badges, ingredient details, and usage instructions all visible without scrolling.

Quick checkout flow. Fewer steps between add-to-cart and order placed. COD and prepaid both optimized for conversion.

Speed optimization from day one. A slow store loses buyers before they even see the product.

Customer reviews on every product page. Social proof built directly into the purchase journey.

Building a Shopify Store for D2C Brand TrulyVeda

We built TrulyVeda’s store on Shopify, the right platform for a growing D2C brand that needs reliable payments, inventory management, and room to scale.

The design was built around the brand identity: clean, natural, and premium. Not clinical. Not cluttered. A store that feels as good as the products inside it.

Every product page follows a proven structure. Name and key benefit at the top. Trust signals, including lab-tested, made in India, and quality-certified badges, are immediately visible. Ingredients and usage details for educated buyers. Reviews from real customers. Add to cart is always in view.

The checkout was streamlined. We removed unnecessary steps, made COD and prepaid equally smooth, and added a free shipping trigger on prepaid orders to nudge buyers toward better margins for the brand.

For speed, we compressed every image to next-gen formats, kept JavaScript minimal, deferred non-critical scripts, and built a lightweight theme with zero bloat.

Final PageSpeed scores: 90 on desktop, 86 on mobile.

What Customers Say About TrulyVeda

“I have been using TrulyVeda’s Ashwagandha for 2 months now and the difference in my stress levels is noticeable. Great quality product and fast delivery.” Verified Buyer

“Finally found a brand that actually lists all ingredients clearly. The Triphala capsules have genuinely helped my digestion. Will definitely reorder.” Verified Buyer

“Ordered the Liver Detox and the D3+K2 combo. Both arrived well packed and the product quality is excellent. The website was easy to use and checkout was smooth.” Verified Buyer

The Result

TrulyVeda now has a store that is completely theirs.

Every customer who buys directly from trulyveda.com belongs to the brand, not to a platform. The founder can now build an email list, run his own offers, control pricing, and tell the brand story his way.

The store is live at trulyveda.com, built on Shopify, the world’s leading e-commerce platform at shopify.com

The time that was going into managing marketplace listings is now being used to grow the brand itself.

Desktop PageSpeed: 90
Mobile PageSpeed: 86
Platform dependency: Gone

The store is live at trulyveda.com
